Affiliate Disclosure
SubaruReview.com participates in affiliate advertising programs. We earn from qualifying purchases made through links on this site, at no extra cost to you.
How we make money
The site is supported by two revenue streams:
- Affiliate links. When you click a product link on a problem write-up, repair-cost page, or mods guide and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission from the retailer (Amazon Associates, RockAuto, FCP Euro, eBay Partner Network, and others). The price you pay is identical.
- Display ads. We run ads through standard ad networks. Ad placements never influence what we cover or how we rate a model, recall, or repair.
Editorial independence
No manufacturer, dealer, parts vendor, or shop pays for coverage or placement. Recall data is sourced from NHTSA. Problem patterns are drawn from technical service bulletins, class-action filings, and owner reports. Repair cost ranges combine shop quotes and RepairPal-style data with what owners actually pay.
If a product we recommend turns out to be junk, we say so — and we remove the affiliate link.
FTC compliance
This page exists to comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 ("Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising"). Affiliate links across the site are additionally labeled inline where used.
Not affiliated with Subaru
SubaruReview.com is an independent enthusiast project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Subaru Corporation, Subaru of America, or any Subaru dealership.
